Hi, I’m Angie!

As a Therapist and Life Coach, I bring a grounded, person-centered approach to healing—one that holds the deep belief that you are already whole. I see my role as a compassionate guide and collaborator, supporting you in embodying your inherent wisdom, resilience, and capacity for growth. Drawing from nature-based practices, EMDR, IFS, CBT, mindfulness, and polyvagal-informed interventions, our work together is both intuitive and integrative. Whether you’re seeking relief from emotional pain, clarity in transition, or reconnection with your most authentic self, I aim to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal on your own terms.

My Journey to Becoming a Therapist & Coach

My Path to Therapy and Coaching

My professional journey began in nursing, where I spent many years supporting children and families in medical settings. While that work was meaningful, I gradually came to realize that my true passion lies in supporting people emotionally — helping them connect more deeply with themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and foster lasting personal growth.

This clarity led me to pursue training in both life coaching and therapy, where I’ve found work that aligns fully with my values of connection, presence, and emotional healing. I bring the empathy and insight cultivated through years of caregiving into a new space — one where people can feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.

My Own Healing Journey

Navigating Darkness, Embracing Transformation

I come to this work with a deep reverence for the complexity of the human experience — and a personal understanding of how disorienting and overwhelming life can sometimes feel. Like many people, I’ve moved through seasons of struggle that challenged my sense of identity, meaning, and emotional wellbeing. Those experiences shaped my path and continue to inform the way I approach my work.

I believe in the transformative potential of healing relationships — with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. My own journey has taught me how powerful it can be to feel seen, supported, and gently challenged within a therapeutic relationship. Over time, and with the support of compassionate guides, I’ve learned to meet the difficult parts of my experience with greater curiosity and care. I’ve also witnessed the profound shifts that can happen when we begin to turn toward our inner world with kindness and intention.

This work is deeply personal to me. It’s not abstract or merely theoretical — it’s grounded in lived experience and in an ongoing commitment to my own growth, healing, and integrity. Because of that, I show up with clients not only with training and clinical expertise, but with a deep respect for the courage it takes to explore your inner life and create meaningful change.

Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I hold space for the full spectrum of your experience — both the pain and the possibility. I believe that healing happens in relationship, and that by reconnecting with your own inner wisdom (and perhaps the natural world around you), you can rediscover a sense of resilience, clarity, and belonging.

“You are one decision away from a completely different life.” – Mel Robbins

Welcoming Growth and Transformation

It has taken years of deep inner work to shift the way I relate to my own emotional landscape. I’ve come to understand that both light and shadow have wisdom to offer, and that healing often begins when we learn to meet all parts of ourselves with curiosity, courage, and compassion. This ongoing journey has shaped the way I walk alongside others. I remain committed to my own growth and healing, and because of that, I bring a deep respect for the strength it takes to face your inner world. It’s an honor to hold space for the brave work of self-discovery and transformation.

I believe that movement in many forms can be a powerful catalyst for growth and healing, and I love helping clients discover or enhance this gift in their life.

Movement as Medicine: The Role of the Body in Emotional Healing

Movement can be a powerful ally in mental and emotional health. Whether it’s the steady rhythm of a long run, the grounding presence of a walk in nature, or the discipline of athletic training, engaging the body helps us access resilience, clarity, and emotional regulation in ways that often go beyond words.

In my work, I integrate a deep respect for the connection between body and mind. I’ve seen how movement can build confidence, shift entrenched beliefs, and offer new perspectives — both on and off the trail. This connection isn’t just for athletes; it’s for anyone looking to reconnect with themselves, process emotions, or cultivate a greater sense of vitality and self-trust.

I especially enjoy supporting athletes and active individuals who are navigating performance pressure, perfectionism, identity transitions, injury recovery, or the mental demands of high achievement. I also welcome those who are simply curious about how incorporating movement into their therapeutic process can support emotional well-being.

Whether you’re running toward a goal or simply trying to reconnect with your body in a more compassionate way, movement can be a doorway to healing — one step, breath, or mile at a time.

“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.” – Rumi
